A proposed training program based on sustainable human development to develop the teaching skills of social teachers in the directorates of education in the province of Baghdad

Abstract

The current research aims to find out "a proposed training program based on sustainable human development to develop the teaching skills of social teachers in the directorates of education in the province of Baghdad".


To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared a training program that represented the theoretical side of the teaching skills represented in (the skill of formulating educational objectives, the skill of writing the annual plan, the skill of writing the daily plan, the skill of preparation, the skill of content analysis, the analysis of learner characteristics, the skill of asking questions, the skill of reinforcement, the skill of using Teaching methods and teaching aids, assessment skill, test preparation skill), and a practical aspect of implementing the program prepared through training social teachers in the directorates of education in the province of Baghdad. The validity of the program was verified by presenting it to a group of experts and arbitrators.


To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher chose the descriptive research method, and the researcher identified the research community of social teachers in the directorates of education in the province of Baghdad. Presented to experts and arbitrators and taking their opinions and observations in the merge and deletion, the form included in its final form (12) sub-skills, distributed (3) skills within the planning skill (the skill of formulating general and behavioral educational goals, the skill of writing the annual and daily plan and the skill of choosing methods of teaching, training, activities and games ) and (7) skills within the implementation skill (the skill of preparation, the skill of content analysis, the skill of communication and communication, closing, the skill of asking questions, diversifying stimuli, the skill of reinforcement, the skill of problem solving and class management) and (2) two skills within the skill of evaluation (the evaluation skill) Preliminary, formative and dimensional, the skill of preparing tests.


The researcher recommends a number of recommendations


Adopting the application of the training program that came out of the current research to be a practical guide for training social teachers in the directorates of education in Baghdad governorate in general and the third Rusafa Directorate of Education in particular, and providing them with a theoretical and applied skill framework that enables them to carry out their work efficiently and effectively.
Attention to the development of teaching skills within the program of preparing social teachers by considering it an independent subject in itself that emphasizes the theoretical and practical side.


To complement the current research, the researcher suggests applying the training program for the current research in the directorates of education in the province of Baghdad and conducting future studies based on training programs according to human development standards.
