Abstract

The Importance of studying the research lies at a critical stage in the political history of Bolivia (1969-1974) because it witnessed very important political developments, as four successive governments all came after Military coups and with different ideological ideas and Policy orientations, which prompted the United States of America during the administration President Richard Nixon should pursue a special policy regarding these developments as required by its strategic interests in Bolivia and try to keep the latter from the impact of the repercussions of the Cold War conflict in the Latin continent, so the US embassy in La Paz had the main role in tracking the course of these events and what the US administration should do about it In order to preserve the interests of the United States of America in this Important part of the Latin American Continent. The researcher reached several conclusions: The most important of which is that the policy of the United States of America focused according to the requirements of the stage and its developments in the Bolivian domestic scene, and working directly or indirectly to change the paths of developments in order to serve its objectives.
