Abstract

This study deals with the phenomenon of displacement in the poetry of Hassan ibn Thabit. Ansari on the compositional level in the methods of constructing speech (demand and non-request). As Hassan was a wise and honest poet, the Arabs felt as Al-Hotta’a said about him. The displacement in Hassan’s poetry came in a variety of ways.  He enjoys his stylistic ability, and tremendous linguistic energy. In finding different meanings, where the creative imagination and strong passion are sincere, Hassan knocked on all doors of poetry before his conversion to Islam, such as spinning, praise, description and satire. He mentioned the gatherings of entertainment and wine, and he was exaggerated in his poetry.  His conversion to Islam has weakened his poetry, and because, according to the critics, Islam forbids some purposes, such as spinning, describing, the poetry of amusement, and wine and permitting him the purpose of praise, such as praising the Prophet and his companions, and the purpose of lamentation with which the martyrs of the Islamic call lamented, and the purpose of satire with which the Quraish hypocrites and opponents of Islam were exposed.  Hassan's poetry was famous for its charcoal pronunciation and strong style, sincerity of tone, and commitment to the rules of religion
