Abstract
The research is a historical, economic and analytical study of the texts contained in the book “Ahsan Al-Taqasim” by Al-Maqdisi Al-Bishari, in which the financial and economic resources of the Islamic city are summarized and collected under the name (The Cases of the Region’s Affairs), which is the subject of the study. This study limits the economy of the Islamic city in terms of exports, taxes and types of money in circulation at the time.
