Preparation and antimicrobial studies of metal complexes for schiff bases 2- (benzylidine) benzothiazole hydrazone
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research included the preparation of Schiff base 2- (benzylidine) benzothiazole hydrazone from the reaction of 2-hydrazinobenzothiazole with p-hydroxy benzaldehyde.
The Schiff base was diagnosed by means of infrared (IR) and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), and then this cleand base was used to prepare new complexes with ions of palladium, nickel, platinum and copper. These ions were coordinated with the ligand. Through the two nitrogen atoms of the azomethine group.
