Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Seal of the Prophets, his family, his companions, and those who follow him with goodness until the day God inherits the earth and whoever is on it, and He is the best of the inheritors.
And yet. We wanted with this research marked (the origin of companionship in the book of the meanings of the letters), to make it clear that the evidence of companionship is a valid evidence and that the scholars have relied a lot on it, but they did not define it by its name, rather they called it by different names, and that this research is only a glimpse that shows the scholars’ reliance on it in proving grammatical rule or reject it. Therefore, we have divided this research into two chapters and a conclusion, then a list of proven sources.
