Evaluation of the Hydrological Characteristics of the Wadi Al-Abyad Basin in the Iraqi Western Desert

Abstract

The research aims to study the spatial variation of water resources in the Wadi Al-Abyad Basin, as it was shown by calculating the water balance of the study area that it suffers from a severe water deficit due to high temperatures, and the fluctuation of the amount of rainfall from one year to another and from one place to another, so the difference is large. Between precipitation in the winter months and what is lost in the summer months.
