Abstract
The new ligand (5-(2-hydroxybenzylidene)2-mercapto-4,3,1-thiadiazole) was prepared in the presence of the cofactor. The new ligand was used to prepare a series of complexes with some transition metal ions Pd (II), Rh (III), Mn (II), V (IV) and Cd (II) in order to study the effect of the metal ion in the presence of the ligand on the biological activity.
