Abstract


The Iraqi people were eager for the end of World War II, in order to enjoy the new life that it called for, in addition to improving the general conditions in the country. There was no clear change in the internal politics, just as the ruling elite did not witness a change in the improvement of economic conditions, at a time when the political parties overtly asserted that It emerged in 1946 on the need to improve these conditions as an entry point for political reform processes in the country. For example, the Istiqlal Party states that the party's economic policy focuses on combating unemployment, poverty, and economic abuse ( ),
