Administrative empowerment of chiefs Scientific departments

Abstract

The concept of administrative empowerment is one of the contemporary administrative concepts in management science, and its application in universities and educational institutions has become of paramount importance at the administrative and educational levels. In view of the role that the department head should play in the college, and the large number of his administrative tasks that may override his other tasks, as well as his direct connection to the functions of scientific research and teaching, the two researchers felt the need to identify the administrative empowerment of the heads of scientific departments in the colleges of the University of Baghdad.
