A study of the zooplankton crustacean community in Baghdad Island Lake and Tigris River
Main Article Content
Abstract
For the purpose of knowing the effect of the type of water body on the density of branched tentacles. The monthly variations of one group of zooplankton, Cladocera, were studied in the Jazeera Baghdad tourist lake and the Tigris River in order to identify the effect of the water body type on the branching tentacles density in two stations on the Tigris River and three others in the Baghdad island tourist lake. Samples were collected semi-monthly from December 2013 to May 2014, in addition to some environmental factors such as (water temperature (°C), pH, and electrical conductivity).
