Abstract
The Arabian Peninsula witnessed radical changes as a result of the discovery of the largest oil reserves in the world on the southern tip of the Arabian Gulf in the thirties of the twentieth century. This discovery was one of the most important vital sources in this era. The impact of this transition was on the Arab culture in general and on its inhabitants who live a nomadic life in particular. It is the topic that is dealt with by most of the novel projects that were published in Arabic, which are intertwined with the present time, which is (Abdul Rahman Munif's Quintet),
