The effect of employing the Hamdan electronic model on the acquisition of grammatical concepts for fourth-grade literary students)

Abstract

 


     The current research aims to know (the effect of employing the Hamdan electronic model in acquiring grammatical concepts for fourth-grade literary students), and to achieve this, the researcher chose the Baghdad governorate and a sample of fourth-grade literary students intentionally from the school (Thawrat Al-Hussein Preparatory School for Boys), affiliated to the Directorate of Education of Baghdad Rusafa third, for the academic year (2021-2022 AD), the research sample amounted to (68) students distributed randomly between two groups. In the traditional way, the researcher rewarded the students (the research sample) in the following variables: (chronological age calculated in months, the parents’ academic achievement, the Arabic language scores for the past year, and the language ability test), and the researcher formulated (77) behavioral goals, distributed over the three levels of acquisition represented by B (defining the concept, distinguishing the concept, and applying the concept), and the researcher presented it to a group of experts and specialists in the field of the Arabic language and its teaching methods, measurement and evaluation in order to verify its validity and cover the content of the subject.                             


        He chose a topic from the Arabic grammar curriculum; To represent a test tool for acquiring grammatical concepts, in which it measures the research sample. The test tool consisted of (30) paragraphs of concept acquisition, which were represented by multiple-choice questions, and the test was distinguished by honesty, reliability and objectivity.               


        The researcher applied the test in acquiring concepts on the (research sample) at the end of the experiment, and the researcher used the appropriate statistical means in his research represented by the (T-test) for two independent samples, chi-square (Ka2), the difficulty coefficient, the discrimination coefficient, and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives. , and Keodor Richard Son's equation (20), and the equation of Pearson correlation coefficient, and the percentage, and the results of the research showed that the experimental group students who study the grammar material using (Hamdan electronic model) outperform the students of the control group who study the same material in the traditional way in acquiring concepts grammatical.                                                             


         The researcher recommended several recommendations, most notably: Emphasizing the use of (Hamdan electronic model), which has proven its effectiveness in teaching Arabic grammar for fourth-grade literary students.                                                                                     


    The researcher suggested conducting several studies, most notably: conducting a similar study to the current research in other dependent variables such as: (motivation, reflective thinking, and achievement).
