Main Article Content
Abstract
The current research aims to identify the impact of Nedham's constructivist model on developing the skills of students at the Institute of Fine Arts in the subject of visual composition, and then measure the extent of this impact on skill development. In order to achieve the research objective, the researcher constructed an educational program based on Nedham's model, and adopted an experimental approach with a pre-test and post-test design, where the research sample consisted of 22 students from the third stage of the Department of Fine Arts at the Institute of Fine Arts.
The researcher prepared two research tools for the current study, which are:
- A cognitive test consisting of 35 items.
2. A skills test (performance evaluation form).
Among the most important results of the current research are:
1.The impact size after applying the eta equation was (0.84), indicating a high impact size of the educational program based on Nedham's model for the experimental group.
2.The impact size after applying the Cohen equation was (8.80), indicating a significant impact size of the educational program in skill development for the experimental group.
