The contributions of the four pillars and the snowball to the athlete’s greeting for fifth-grade primary school students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The current research aims to identify (the effect of using the four pillars and snowball strategies on mathematical achievement among fifth-grade primary school students). To verify the goal of the current research, the researchers adopted the quasi-experimental approach, and the research sample consisted of (74) fifth-grade primary school students, class For the second semester of the academic year (2023-2024), Al-Osoul Primary School affiliated with the Maysan Education Directorate was chosen intentionally, and randomly selected for the divisions. Division (A) was chosen to be the first experimental group that studied according to the four-pillar strategy, with (25) students, and division ( C) to be the second experimental group, which was taught according to the snowball strategy, with (25) students, and (B) to be the control group, which was taught according to the usual method, with (24) students. The two groups were rewarded in the following variables (intelligence, chronological age, and previous information in... mathematics, and previous achievement in mathematics). The research tool was prepared: a mathematical achievement test, which consists of (22) objective items (multiple choice). Using the Keuder-Richardson equation - 20, the value of the reliability coefficient was 0.73. After completing the experiment, the test was applied to the three research groups. He used the statistical program spss_27 to process the data he obtained. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average grades of the students in the first experimental group and the grades of the students in the second experimental group and the grades of the control group students in the mathematical achievement test, and in favor of the first experimental group compared with the control group. In favor of the second experimental group compared with the control group, and through the results reached, some recommendations and proposals were presented that the researcher hopes to study and take into account.
