The Effectiveness Of An Educational Program Based On Deep Understanding Skills In Subject Acquisition Arabic Grammar Among Fifth-Grade Literary Students

Abstract
The current research aims to identify (the effectiveness of an educational program based on deep understanding skills in the acquisition of Arabic grammar among fifth-grade literary students. The researcher followed the procedures of the experimental method and adopted an experimental design with partial control, which is the design of the experimental group and the control group with the post-test. It was determined The research community included fifth-grade literary students in secondary and middle schools for girls affiliated with the General Directorate of Second Rusafa Education in Baghdad Governorate, Al-Baladiyat District, with (30) students for the experimental group and (32) students for the control group. The researcher studied the experimental group by adopting the educational program according to deep understanding skills and the control group. According to the traditional method, the researcher rewarded the two groups in the variables of chronological age, parents’ academic achievement, and other variables. The researcher studied (8) topics from the Arabic language book scheduled to be taught to female students in the fifth literary grade and the entire semester of the academic year (2023-2024), and the researcher formulated (102) A behavioral goal, model plans were prepared for each topic, and an achievement test consisting of (40) items, including (30) objective items and (10) essay items, was prepared. The tool was applied to an exploratory sample to verify the time it takes to answer and the extent of the clarity of the paragraphs, as it was applied to a sample. A second exploratory study was conducted to verify the psychometric properties. The difficulty factor, discriminatory powers, and incorrect alternatives for the items were extracted. After applying the tool to the two research groups, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the average scores of the two groups in the post-achievement test and in favor of the experimental group, and in light of the results The researcher concluded that using the educational program according to the deep understanding skills of the students of the experimental group worked to increase the students’ ability to carry out duties and activities easily and in the least possible time and to raise their ability to think distinctly, while this was difficult for the control group that studied according to the traditional method. The researcher recommended the necessity of applying strategies Teaching that falls under the dimensions of deep understanding and its skills for teaching Arabic grammar topics, in continuation of the research, the researcher proposed designing an educational program according to deep understanding skills in other variables such as systemic thinking, habits of mind, divergent or critical thinking, and other variables.
