General foundations of spiritual education in Islam

Abstract

Education in general seeks to achieve the goals of creation and organize the relationships of the servant with his Lord, with himself, with his brother, and with the universe in which he lives. The Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Great Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) played the most prominent role, and his words (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) had the strongest impact on the souls of the believers, and the beautiful influence in their hearts, and the bright light for their minds, and he embodied with his noble family and the best of his companions the pinnacle of the values ​​of Islam, despite the injustice of darkness, the short period, and the acceleration of events in that time, but by the will of God his influence extended beyond his time, and it will remain until he inherits the earth and those on it who are of his stature.


In this research, we try to shed light on the most important features of Islamic educational thought. We have chosen to divide it into sections. In the first section, we defined the most important concepts of the study. In the second, we discussed the most important effects of spiritual education on the network of human relationships. In the third, we discussed the most important ways to refine human morals. The research included an introduction and a conclusion that included the most important results and recommendations
