The professional identity of educational counselors

Abstract
The current research aims to identify the professional identity of educational counselors. The research sample was educational counselors according to (gender, length of service, and marital status) in Diyala Governorate, amounting to (400) male and female counselors. The researcher adopted the scale (Al-Khatib 2020) consisting of (48) items. With five alternatives, the virtual validity and reliability was conducted on it, by the re-test method, and the Pearson correlation coefficient was extracted. The results reached:
1-There is a difference in professional identity according to gender in favor of females.
2 - There is no difference in the professional identity according to the length of service variable.
3- There is no difference in professional identity according to the social status variable.
