Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the impact of the PLAN strategy on the achievement and development of creative thinking among art education students in the crafts subject. To achieve this objective, the researcher tested two hypotheses and structured the first chapter to address the problem of the PLAN strategy, its importance, purpose, and limitations, and to define key terms. The second chapter comprised three sections: the PLAN strategy, creative thinking, and crafts. The third chapter, which included the data collection procedures, employed a quasi-experimental design with two groups (experimental and control). Two instruments were used to achieve the objective and obtain results: an achievement test and a creative thinking scale. The researcher used the SPSS statistical package, deemed the most suitable for the current research procedures, to extract the results. The study population consisted of 202 first-year students from both the morning and evening classes.
