Existential emptiness and its relationship to mental health among widowed female teachers

Abstract
Existential emptiness is a widespread phenomenon in today's world, to the extent that some have expressed it as the neurosis of the age. This phenomenon is represented by a mixture of feelings of emptiness, emptiness, boredom, impotence, and futility that afflict the person of this era. However, the existential emptiness is one of the basic and important psychological concepts referred to by the existentialists. As for the relationship of existential emptiness with mental health. It is man's innate quest to search for meaning in his life and to achieve it that gives him mental health. The individual's sense of happiness, contentment and success in his life and facing psychological pressures successfully is possible to achieve mental health
