The reality of art education in Primary schools in Baghdad

Abstract

Art education is one of the main pillars for the integration of the student’s intellectual and social development. It enriches the students’ lives, helps them adapt to their society, invest their free time, and rid them of the effects of fatigue and psychological stress, which makes the student more willing and active.
Also, art education takes care of students in the taste and innovation aspects, by providing them with opportunities for performance and artistic practice supported by individual and group guidance, which makes the process of innovation in an increasing and continuous growth.
