Self-transcendence and its relationship to critical thinking of university students

Abstract
The current research aimed to identify:
1. Self-sublimation among university students.
2. Significance of differences in self-transcendence among university students according to the variable of gender (male - female) and specialization (scientific - human).
3. Critical thinking among university students.
4. Significance of differences in critical thinking among university students according to the gender variable (male - female) and specialization (scientific - human).
5. The extent of the contribution of critical thinking among university students to self-transcendence.
In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researchers did the following:
1 . Adopting the self-transcendence scale for university students according to "Reid's" theory, which consisted in its final form of (24) items, after completing the conditions of validity, reliability and distinction of the items. The reliability coefficient of the scale by the re-test method reached (0.74).
