Abstract

This research aims to identify the colors and their meanings in the drawings of slow-learning pupils. The first chapter includes an introduction, research problem, significance, objectives, and scope of the research. The researchers defined the terms at the end of the research. The second chapter consists of the theoretical framework and previous studies. The theoretical framework includes two sections. The first section discusses the concept of color meanings, while the second section discusses the concept of slow-learning children and the indicators of the theoretical framework. Regarding previous studies, the researchers did not find a study that directly addressed the subject of this research. However, they found other studies that discussed slow-learning children, such as the study by Al-Issaawi (1977) and the study by Reddh and Ramar (1996). The third chapter includes the methodology and research procedures. The fourth chapter presents the findings, and the most significant finding was the prominence of the red color in all the drawings, indicating a connection with the students' emotions since red is the strongest and most influential color in emotion. Based on the current research results, the research concludes with recommendations and proposals
