Abstract

The current research aimed: "Analysis of the Arabic language book for the sixth grade of middle school, according to the requirements of sustainable development."  The research was determined by the academic year 2024-2025 AD in the Republic of Iraq, and by the Arabic language book for the sixth grade of middle school (parts one and two), 3st edition, 2024.

      To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher chose the analytical descriptive research approach, and the research community was represented by the Arabic language book for the sixth grade of middle school and its two parts (first and second). overall quality requirements.

      In order to move forward in the analysis process, the researcher prepared a book analysis form consisting of (25) requirements of sustainable development, and the psychometric characteristics of the tool were verified in terms of validity and reliability, and a criterion for the tool was determined. On the questionnaire and determining the degree of cut-off (cut-off threshold) according to each field, it became clear that there are (14) requirements that are met with a percentage of (56%), and (11) requirements that are not achieved in the book with a percentage of (46%). The researcher detailed this in the chapter the fourth .

    After presenting and interpreting the results, the researcher came out with a set of conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions.
