Analysis of the Fifth Preparatory Grade Computer Science Textbook Content According to International Standards

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the content of the fifth-grade preparatory computer science textbook according to international standards. The researchers used the METS-S international standards, which consisted of six axes. The analysis was conducted on the content of the fifth-grade preparatory computer science textbook, After its application, the research revealed the presence of all international computer standards, albeit in small and varying proportions. The research results indicated the need for revisions. Based on this, the following conclusions were drawn:

- The fifth-grade preparatory computer science textbook included all international computer standards to varying degrees, except for digital citizenship standards.The recommendations included:

- The necessity of adding up-to-date topics related to new standards that keep pace with scientific and technological advancements.

The suggestions included:

- Conducting a study analyzing the presence of international computer standards in the first-grade intermediate computer science textbook.
