The Effect of the (8W's) Model on the Acquisition of Physical Concepts among Fourth-Grade Science Students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The current research aims to reveal the effect of the)8W's(model on the acquisition of Physical Concepts among Fourth-Grade Science Students. In their study, the researchers employed a quasi-experimental design with post-test. The researchers selected Fourth-Grade Science Students from Al-Nahrawan Preparatory School for Boys as the research sample for the(2025-2026) academic year, these were distributed two groups; the experimental group consisted of(38)student who studied physics according the )8W's( model, and(37)student in the control group who studied physics according the traditional method. The researchers developed a physical concepts acquisition test comprising(60)items, to serve as the research instrument, after establishing its psychometric properties. Following the conclusion of the researchers applied the research instrument to both research groups Concurrently, after the statistical processing of the data, the results revealed experimental group Students over the control group Students by statistically significant difference at the level of significance(0.05), the Eta squared ( ) measure was used to calculate the effect size. In light of these results the researchers presented a number of recommendations an suggestions.
