The Effect of Self-Activation Strategy on Creative Thinking Among Fifth-Grade Primary Students In Mathematics
Main Article Content
Abstract
The current research aims to identify the effect of the Self-Activation Strategy on creative thinking among fifth-grade primary students. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopted the experimental method due to its suitability for the nature of the study. A sample of (75) students was selected and divided into two groups (control and experimental). The researcher personally taught both groups the mathematics curriculum prescribed for fifth-grade primary students for the academic year 2025–2026
Following the conclusion of the experiment, the researcher reached several results, including the superiority of the experimental group over the control group. The researcher put forward several recommendations, most notably: working on preparing and qualifying teaching staff to keep pace with rapid developments by organizing training courses to familiarize them with modern strategies, including the self-activation strategy. Furthermore, the researcher suggested conducting similar studies to the current one aimed at developing students' skills in mathematics.
