The Concept of Self in uneducated adolescents Case Study

Abstract

    The aim of the current research is to identify the concept of self among the unknown children in the state care centers, based on the case study methodology, which is considered an important curriculum in dealing with small samples. The sample consisted of (3) individuals who were deliberately selected, On the theory of Rogers in the treatment of being the most interested in the concept of self, after the construction of the measurement of the concept of self-damaged (6) areas (self-esteem, emotional field of self, the field of moral self, the field of social self, the field of the subjective self, ) . The results showed that adolescents have a decline in self-concept as a result of the nature of the conditions in which these individuals are deprived and difficult to adapt and meet the challenges and requirements of their development, similar to the adolescents living in the midst of their families. Based on these The results, information collected from the case study, "Interview, CV and Cumulative Record", were presented using Rogers' strategies and techniques in psychotherapy. The results of the research sessions, which confirm these results on the success and effectiveness of sessions in improving the self-concept in the sample of the research, and the research came out with some recommendations and suggestions.
