The effect of the location of the strong scatterer using the technique of hiding the wrong alternatives on some psychometric properties of the multiple-choice questions in physics

Abstract
The aim of this research was to investigate the power of distractor upon difficulty index and discrimination index of the test items. To achieve the aim above, a multiple choice test in physics consist of (18) items was constructed. the sample consist of (105) male first grade student was chosen from distinguished school in Al-diwaniya city(2017-2018).the results showed that there was statistical significant difference in mean scores of the difficulty index and crimination index.A number of recommended and suggestions were proposed in the light of the above results.
