Abstract

The aim of the research is to build a model for evaluating the history curriculum for the high school stage in the Republic of Iraq, and then using the model in evaluating the history curriculum from the point of view of history teachers. The descriptive approach was adopted to achieve the goal of the research. The research sample included (140) teachers of history in the preparatory schools of the Rusafa ducation Directorates.The research tool (questionnaire) was prepared that includes six areas, and in its final form (96) paragraphs were included, and the validity and stability of the tool was verified. In order from top to bottom, respectively: educational objectives, educational content, methods of teaching, educational techniques, educational activities, measurement and evaluation.The research concluded with a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
