Abstract
The construction facilities represented an important axis of the axes that formed the Fatimid caliphate in Egypt. On the night of his arrival in Egypt in the year 358 AH / 968 AD, Jawhar al-Siqilli started planning the new city. After that, he has the opportunity to see the cities of Pharaonic Egypt and the cities of the Byzantine Levant, so it was taken into account in the planning of this new city, which was later called Cairo, the established rules for planning cities that were developed in the fifth century BC, and which the Greeks and Romans worked with in their ancient, sprawling empires, and are originally due to models Taken from the ancient Egyptian Pharaonic cities and from the Assyrian cities, the reality is that the layout of Cairo is Al-Mu'izzi
