Abstract

        The attention of specialists and researchers in the educational administration has increased in terms of time management and how to invest it because of its contribution to advancing the process of educational institutions … Thomas said that those interested in administrative organizations and their problems have now turned from these problems to focus on time management as an urgent need for growth. By investing managers and using it optimally through good investment  (Thomas, 1989: 7). The concept of self-efficacy is one of the concepts that contribute to the building of the personality of the individual and the ability to face different life situations, and his orientation towards knowledge that the presidency of the department, represented by the leadership of educational college, facing problems and requirements and great tasks as the importance of time management and its relationship to self-efficacy is greatly increased The heads of scientific departments as well as their influence on the behavior of society and teachers and students on the one hand and their administrative work on the other. Therefore, the current research aims to identify the level of time management processes, and identify the level of self-efficacy among the heads of scientific departments at Mustansiriya University, and the difference between them depending on the gender variable (male – female) and specialization (scientific – human).
