Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the obstacles to the development of the university professor in the specialization of curricula and teaching methods for the University of Baghdad and from their point of view, according to three fields (administrative, teaching and curriculum). And develop solutions, treatments and proposals according to the fields of study. The sample of the current research is from the professors of the two universities of Baghdad in the specialty of curricula and teaching methods for the academic year (2013-2014) from the morning study and for the three colleges of education of the University of Baghdad, Ibn Rushd College, the College of Education for Girls, and the College of Education Ibn Al-Haytham for scientific specializations. Both sexes are about (92). In order to obtain data and information to achieve the research objective, the questionnaire was used as a means to achieve the two research objectives.
