Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effect of participatory learning using the learning anchor in acquiring mathematical concepts for fifth grade students.The research sample was chosen randomly from Al-Fatwa Elementary Mixed School of the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad, Al-Rusafa First, and it consisted of (20) students from the fifth grade of primary school, with (20) students in each group of the experimental and control groups, and the two groups were rewarded in the following variables ( The chronological age in months, intelligence, previous knowledge in mathematics, previous achievement, and the educational level of the parents), and the experiment was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2024-2023) AD, and the research tool was prepared, which is: The Mathematical Concepts Acquisition Test Component From (15) objective paragraphs of multiple-choice type and using Kewder Richardson equation (KR-20), the value of the reliability coefficient was (0.92), the search tool was applied at the end of the experiment and after data collection and using appropriate statistical methods, the results showed the superiority of the experimental group students who They studied using the learning anchor in acquiring mathematical concepts on the students of the control group who studied in the usual way, and in light of the results, a number of recommendations and suggestions were made
