Emotional intelligence and its relationship to job performance of workers in special education centers in Bethlehem Governorate

Abstract
The study aimed to identify emotional intelligence and its relationship to job performance among workers in special education centers, and the Researchers built a questionnaire for this purpose, which was distributed to (60) workers in special education centers in Bethlehem governorate, who were randomly selected during the year 2024 AD. Data using the statistical package program (SPSS), and the study reached the following most important results: The degree of the sample’s assessment of the level of emotional intelligence and its relationship to job performance among workers in special education centers was large at a relative weight (88.2%), showing that there is a significant correlation Statistics at the level of significance. () between the level of emotional intelligence and its relationship to job performance among workers in special education centers, and it was found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance() The level of emotional intelligence and its relationship to job performance among workers in special education centers is attributed to the job title variable, and it turns out that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance() The level of emotional intelligence and its relationship to job performance among workers in special education centers is attributed to the variables (gender, educational qualification, years of experience), where many recommendations have been made, including: A positive return on educating students with special needs, and training teachers on emotional intelligence skills by subjecting them to training programs specialized in developing emotional intelligence skills. The need to educate decision-makers in senior management in special education centers of the importance of emotional intelligence and its role in reducing work pressure and improving performance.
