Cognitive distortions among middle school students

Abstract

The current research aimed at measuring the cognitive distortions of middle school students, and the research sample consisted of (100) students from the second intermediate grade, and the two researchers used the cognitive distortions scale that was adopted for this purpose after it was presented to a group of experts and extracted the psychometric characteristics of it. The two researchers used statistical methods, the t-test for two independent samples, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and the Alpha Cronbach equation, and the results showed the presence of cognitive distortions among middle school students, and the research came out with a number of recommendations and proposals
