Employing Modern Digital Applications in Teaching Arabic to University Professors: A Study on Google Educational Tools

Abstract

In this research, the effectiveness of various educational Google applications in teaching Arabic language grammar to develop the skills of academics by identifying the using level of Google applications in education in is studied for  Arabic language teaching. Additionally, the skills level of academics is investigated. This study is applied in Baghdad and Almustansreea and Alaraqiea The sample included 100 academics. The descriptive approach is used in this study. A questionnaire is designed as a tool in this research. It included two axes, the first is about the Google apps using in education. it includes 8 items, while the second axis is about  questions about the skills of academics. In teaching, it includes 7 questions. Statistical methods are used to analyze the data. It is found that there is a statistically significant relationship to the Google apps using in education to develop the academics skills in teaching Arabic language. The study recommended that it is necessity to develop the infrastructure of educational institutions and train academics on a continuous and permanent basis to keep pace with ongoing developments and updates in Digital educational applications
