Abstract

Summary:
The research problem was embodied in the fact that young female students are constantly using the Internet and all programs for long periods of time, which affects their level or degree of mental alertness.
The research objectives were determined by:
1- To identify the level of Internet addiction among the research sample.
2- Identifying the level of mental alertness of the research sample.
3- Identifying the relationship between Internet addiction and mental alertness among the research sample.
The two researchers assumed:
1- There is no significant correlation between addiction to the Internet and mental alertness in the research sample.
To achieve the objectives of the research, the two researchers used the internet addiction scale prepared by Sayed Youssef.
