Total quality in higher education

Abstract
Despite the importance of universities in advancing the process of economic and social development and their role in modernizing and developing societies, higher education has not reached the required level in which it is effective and interactive with development aspirations in all fields, as the reality of the situation indicates that higher education has failed. In producing the type of graduates required for the challenges of the world of work, and that the reputation and educational quality today is always determined on the basis of the outputs, and the arrangement of excellent institutions tends according to low failure rates, high levels of graduate success and their enrollment in the postgraduate program and their career success, (Majeed, 2008, p. 111).
