Self-efficacy among university students

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the level of self-efficacy among university students according to the variable of gender (males and females) and according to the variable of specialization (scientific - humanities). The sample consisted of Iraqi University students, numbering (300) male and female students. The researcher built a self-efficacy scale and has The scale in its initial form contained (30) items, and after extracting the psychometric properties of the scale, the scale in its final form included (30) items. The results concluded that Iraqi university students enjoy self-efficacy, and there are no differences in the level of self-efficacy between the genders, and there are no differences in self-efficacy. Between scientific and human specializations.
