Evaluation of the Fundamentals of Art Education curriculum in the College of Education for Girls - Kindergarten Department

Abstract
This research aims to evaluate the book “Fundamentals of Art Education” Used at the University of Baghdad, College of Education for Girls, Kindergarten Department. The evaluation aims to evaluate the suitability of the content to the educational objectives of the department and the quality of its content. The research uses a descriptive analytical approach. The book is evaluated using a systematic evaluation tool. The research procedures include collecting data from the current “Principles of Art Education” Book, and analyzing its content based on specific criteria, such as content relevance, accuracy, and novelty. The main research tools are the calendar tool, Which was developed based on a literature review and interviews with faculty members. Recommendations and proposals resulting from the research include updating the content, expanding its comprehensiveness, enhancing applied activities, and integrating technology into art education. The research findings provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of Art Pedagogy and provide directions for improving art education at the kindergarten level.
